Tuesday afternoon apt. fire snarls traffic on Notre Dame Blvd. in Chomedey

The Laval Fire Dept. was reporting around 2 pm on Tuesday afternoon that motorists should avoid Notre Dame Dame Blvd. near Haifa Ave. in Chomedey because of a fire in an apartment block requiring ladder truck support.

In a text message posted on the LFD’s Twitter site, they said smoke could be seen coming from the three-storey residential building.
