Who we are Created on August 18th 1993, The Laval News (32,000 copies)is published by the same independent press group that publishes Nouvelles Parc–Extension News in Montréal (9,000 copies), The North Shore News (16,000 copies) in the north shore suburbs of Rosemere, Two Mountains, Lorraine and Blainville, Mon Laval (20,000 copies) in Laval and Ta Nea, the Greek Canadian News. Sporting an advertising/editorial ratio among the highest in the industry (50%-55%), The Laval News is member of Quebec Community Newspaper Association and is distributed 24 Wednesdays a year. Our Mission The Laval News is a newspaper dedicated to exploring local issues and strives to give its readers an objective and critical assessment of events that mark our times. It features up-to-date political and social stories along with poignant and quick witted commentary on subjects that affect not only our local readers but Canadians as a whole from coast to coast.
